This privacy policy describes how Nikhil Yadav handles information in the Unkind mobile app.

## Information We Collect

### Information stored on your device

Unkind stores gameplay and settings data locally on your device, including:

- Display name
- Selected avatar
- Theme and graphics preferences
- Audio and settings preferences
- Local game preferences such as selected color

### Information used for online play

When you use online matchmaking or friend rooms, Unkind uses Firebase services and processes:

- Anonymous account identifier (Firebase UID)
- Display name and avatar selection
- Room and match data, including room code, seat or color assignment, and ready or start status
- Live game state and actions required for multiplayer gameplay

### Service-provider technical data

Google Firebase may process technical or network metadata needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP, device, or network information, according to Firebase policies.

## How We Use Information

We use data only to:

- Authenticate players anonymously
- Match players and create or join rooms
- Synchronize multiplayer game state in real time
- Save user settings and preferences
- Operate and maintain core game functionality

## Tracking, Ads, and Analytics

- Unkind does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
- Unkind does not use cross-app tracking for advertising.
- Unkind does not sell personal data.

## Permissions and Sensitive Data

- Unkind does not require contacts, photos, or location for core gameplay.
- If platform-level permissions appear on a device build, they are not used to collect personal content unless explicitly needed for a feature and disclosed in-app.

## Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers required to run the app:

- Google Firebase for authentication and real-time multiplayer backend

We do not share personal data with data brokers.

## Data Retention

- Local settings remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall.
- Multiplayer and session records are retained in backend systems as needed for game operation, integrity, and troubleshooting.

## Your Choices and Account Deletion

Inside the app, you can use the Delete Data or Delete Account option in Settings to:

- Delete your anonymous account when supported by the auth session
- Clear locally stored app data from your device

## Children's Privacy

Unkind is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your region. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

## Security

We use reasonable technical measures and established backend providers to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

## Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The last updated date reflects the latest revision.
